I'm an angry insect

Back in November, my good friend Dave and I started a new company: MadAnt LLC. We now have a web presence over at MadAnt.net – nothing spectacular, but it's a start.

For anyone who is interested, we have three primary sites in the MadAnt-iverse. Take a gander and let me know what you think.

Plucker Books – Started in 2001, this was our first joint venture and remains our most successful one to date. The site offers clean HTML versions of public domain and copy-friendly books for download on to handheld devices. (Originally, our goal was to support Plucker, an e-book/offline HTML reader for the erstwhile PalmOS, but we are working on branching out into other downloadable formats.)

Money $ Liberty – Envisioned by yours truly, this blog focuses on the intersection between two topics that I care quite deeply about: personal finance and personal freedom. It sounds really cool, and it is, especially if you like hearing about good deals, budgeting tips, rants on social security and general mockery of the fascio-consumerist state.

Poor Brother Tom – Named after a band that Dave and I constituted 50% (and therefore have a legal right to use the name according to New York State law!), this site has nothing to do with music. Rather, Dave and the mysterious "PBT" offer educational and entertainment information about stocks and investment strategies.
